My dad is an avid hunter. He’ll stay out in the wilderness for a whole month looking for that perfect buck, turkey, bear, deer and just about anything that walks around the forest. I was telling him about how strong our canopies were the other day and he mentioned how he’d really like one for when he went hunting. Since he’s out hunting for extended periods of time, he has a camping site that he returns to each evening. At the camping site the RV, tent and other kitchen camping gear on the picnic table. A lot of times the tarps and posts that he’ll buy at the local sporting good stores aren’t sturdy enough to hold in the weather for a month or two at a time, so he’s looking for something stronger and that is sturdier. Our tarps are strong! Stronger then any of the tarps you’ll buy at a sporting goods store. They’ve been known to hold up for ten (plus) years and have plenty of life left in them. The galvanized poles are strong too. They won’t rust and they’ll hold up in the weather and not bend when it’s windy or hard rain. The best part is that they’re easy to put up. Really easy!

Why not make a 10×20 temporary structure at a camping/hunting site? It’ll certainly keep the kitchen area dry. It’ll be a large covered space for dining, eating and cleaning up your “catch” of the day. The whole group that you’re with could stay under a really nice dry area for meals and cards after a good day of hunting.

These temporary coverings are really versatile.
